Pregis receives ISO 14001:2015 certification for two EU plants
Pregis, a leading global manufacturer of protective packaging systems, has received ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Heerlen, the Netherlands, and Herbrechtingen, Germany manufacturing facilities.
The facilities manufacture air cushioning material for use with Pregis’ MINI PAK‘R® and AirSpeed® brand equipment, as well as void fill packing chips (loosefill). All product lines include recycled content.
Achieving ISO 14001:2015 demonstrates that an organization is managing its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
“This latest environmental accreditation is just one more example of Pregis’ efforts to support a circular economy by creating the highest quality products, while maximizing recycled content and reducing raw material dependence,” said Pieter van Dongen Torman, commercial director, Pregis Europe.
